The Transportation Process
What To Expect
To receive a quote, please fill out the "Quote Request" form on our homepage, “Request a Quote” page, or email us a completed "Transport Request" form directly.
Once we have all the necessary information from you, we begin the process of arranging transportation for your vehicle. This typically takes 1-4 days, during which we confirm the most efficient and safe drivers, negotiate competitive prices with multiple transport carriers, and thoroughly vet all potential transportation companies to ensure they meet our high standards. Additionally, we require all transport carriers to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI). We use this to verify adequate coverage. Our team members contact the Department of Transportation and insurance providers to confirm that all documents provided by the transport company are legitimate and accurate before quoting you. Once everything is confirmed, we will send you a quote for transportation.
Please note that transportation is not scheduled until payment in full is received and quotes are valid for 24hrs.
Step 1: Quoting A Shipment
Step 2: Scheduling A Shipment
If you accept the provided quote, we will issue an invoice for the transportation cost. Upon full payment, we will confirm the transport and provide an estimated time of arrival (ETA) for pickup and delivery. The allocated pickup window for transportation companies is 1-2 days.
Please note that we cannot guarantee an exact pickup date or time, as trucks may encounter delays due to traffic, weather, mechanical issues, and other unforeseen factors. Transportation companies may cancel at any moment before vehicle is picked up. In the instance that a transport cancels a trip, our team will look for another driver or refund client per their request. If a client cancels a scheduled trip, a $300 cancellation fee will be deducted from their refund.
Step 3: Pick Up & Transit
Once the vehicle is picked up by the transport company, you will receive an email and text message with your online Bill of Lading (BOL). This BOL includes detailed transit information, photographs of the vehicle, notes, and (if available) live tracking from the transport company. Our team will actively monitor your vehicle while it is in transit and provide updates throughout.
The day before the estimated delivery date, you will receive a reminder message from our team regarding the upcoming delivery. Please note that we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date or time, as trucks may encounter delays due to traffic, weather, mechanical issues, and other unforeseen factors. We recommend being available over a two-day window to accommodate any potential delays.
Step 4: Delivery
On the morning of the delivery date, our team will connect you with your driver via text message to facilitate communication throughout the delivery process. The driver will provide a delivery window of a few hours, and update you if there are any delays.
When the driver arrives at the delivery location, please allow them some time to unload the vehicle and complete their delivery inspection process. You will have the opportunity to inspect the vehicle during this time and document any concerns. Once the driver completes the inspection, you will be required to sign the Bill of Lading (BOL), confirming your receipt and approval of the vehicle’s condition. If any damages are found, do not sign the BOL, and contact our team immediately.
